Welcome to Renee's Crafts~
Welcome to our free website! Here you can learn assorted techniques for all the many canvas types that life offers. We will also offer many free patterns, instructions and photos to help you explore canvas types that you may not have tried yet. Many people consider cooking a craft so we may even throw in a recipe or two. We are excited to share our interests with you and hope you find everything you need to help you discover how to "let the world be your canvas".
These are just a few of the canvas types we will explore together:
The Glass Canvas- Includes stained glass and fused glass intro, tips, instructions and free patterns.
The Clay Canvas- Includes all things clay, from polymer clay to ceramics. We will even tell you how to make your own ceramic molds as well as offer many resources to grow your clay canvas passion.
The Beaded Canvas- This is, as you may have guessed, learning to work with the bead as your canvas. From stringing a simple bracelet to creating elaborate bead embroidery, we will be your resource for tips, techniques, patterns and more.
The Broken Canvas- How can we call ourselves responsible crafters if we just throw out everything that breaks? So, in an effort to reduce our footprints, we will learn more about The Broken Canvas. We will cover topics which include mosaics, and an assortment of "trash to treasure" ideas. As well as hints and tips on everything from getting those creative juices flowing to the best types of glue for different media types and (hopefully) everything in between.
The Edible Canvas- Here we will share ideas on great crafty ideas in the kitchen. We will also share a few projects for gifting ideas that you can make yourself at a fraction of the cost of a store bought gift.
Helpful Information- A collection of assorted articles and resources that you may find helpful.
